POSITION TITLE:              In School Suspension Supervisor

 

CONTRACT LENGTH:            School Year

 

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:    Building Principal

POSITION SUMMARY:   
To supervise in the Rally Room area at all times, students who do not act appropriately
according to policy/procedure in the classroom. 

DUTIES:     

• Tier 2 Support
• Non-Punitive approach to discipline and classroom management. 
• A safe place for students to express their feelings and frustrations. 
• A place that promotes self-reflection and self-awareness. 
• It's an opportunity to establish and develop positive relationships
• and it's a respite for students allowing them to reset and successfully continue on with
• their day. 
• Other duties as assigned by principal.

QUALIFICATIONS:   

• Applicants must have ability to supervise students and maintain a quiet and orderly
• business like atmosphere. 
• Maintain neat and accurate records. 
• Attendance must be excellent.
• Works in standard office and school building environments. 
• Must be able to work
• regularly scheduled hours. 
• Must be able to handle stress.

 

COMPENSATION: 

• For hourly staff, we have a new minimum wage of $16 per hour.
