POSITION TITLE:                              Primary Administrative Assistant

CONTRACT LENGTH:                           10.5  Months

POSITION SUMMARY:                  

Assist and serve the primary center community under the direction of the principal.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:        Building Principal

DUTIES:               

The primary center administrative assistant will serve the primary center community by working under the direction of the principal. Scheduling and acting as a recorder at meetings, maintaining an efficient flow of reports and records, researching statistical data pertinent to the school’s objectives, and preparing correspondence are among the duties the administrative assistant will be expected to perform. The principal will assign other tasks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee is required to have dexterity of hands and fingers. The employee is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. They may be occasionally required to bend at the waist, kneel or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is seated or walking at will, and must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.

 

Compensation

For hourly staff, we have a new minimum wage of $16 per hour.
