POSITION TITLE: Title I Family and Community School Specialist (FACSS)

 

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Reports to: Building Principal, Director of Title I

 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Family and Community School Specialist (FACSS) is responsible for Title I parent involvement events, assists with organizing the annual Title I parent meeting, makes home visits, coordinates the school volunteer, program & school partnerships, is a member of the school’s Title I TILT,

SAT, or GEIT team, and maintains data for Title I records and compliance

materials.

Calendar and Pay Rate Information:

 

This position is based on the school year calendar for employees holding a teacher’s contract.

 

Hours:

Follow the teacher’s contract hours and must be able to work some flexible evenings (hours may

vary and are flexible based on scheduled student /parent events).

 

Rate of Pay:

New hires will be paid commensurate with their experience within the pay range established for the school year.
