POSITION TITLE:                          Lunchroom Aide

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:           Principal 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:   

In the Empowerment Zone, we are a team passionate and focused on making real transformation in our schools on the West Side of South Bend, Indiana. We are working in service to our students; 41% who are African-American/Black, 39% who are Latino, and 78% who receive free/reduced lunch. We are seeking a Lunchroom Aide who is interested in helping us accomplish our vision and mission.

DUTIES:     

- Supervise students in lunchroom.

- Assist other lunchroom staff with cleaning tables.

- Maintain high standards of sanitation and personal hygiene. 

          

QUALIFICATIONS:                      

Ability to multi task, work rapidly and efficiently

• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, school personnel, and students
• Sound knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
• Able to work in standard office and school building environments
• Able to work regularly scheduled hours.
• Strong ability to handle stress.
