Description:

 

This position will be responsible for ensuring data contained within the Student Information System is compliant with state reporting data standards.

 

Operational Responsibilities:

 

  • Clean data for State Reporting
  • Republish data in SIS
  • Assist the SIS Admin and Data Content Manager with projects and tasks
  • Collaborate with the members of the Research and Evaluation/IT team to ensure the collection and coherent interpretation of the various business processes; apply technology in support of the business processes.
  • Conceptualize, design, develop and implement procedures within the Student Information System.
  • Analyze issues and develop fixes to existing procedures
  • Research and resolve technical issues and recommend appropriate interventions/modifications as needed.


Position Requirements/Formal Education & Certification:

 

  • University degree in computer science, engineering, data science or technology related field preferred

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge with data transformation and cleaning
  • Ability to read and understand complex computer system documentation; this job requires some technical writing skills for creating documentation for new and existing web applications.
  • Multi-task orientation to handle a number of projects at once while remaining flexible to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Preference for applicants with experience in student information systems with knowledge of PowerSchool a plus.
