POSITION TITLE:            

Fourth Grade Elementary Certified Teacher

POSITION SUMMARY:   

Provide curriculum and instruction to fourth grade students in reading, language arts, math, science, social studies, health, social skills, and all other related areas.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:   

Principal   

DUTIES:   

• Fully implement the curriculum in reading, language arts, science, social studies, health, social skills, and all other   related areas.
• Provide classroom instruction that is engaging, integrated, and developmentally appropriate
• Provide differentiated instruction to support varying levels of performance
• Use formative assessment to guide instruction in reading and math
• Provide supervision of students at all times
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to provide academic support for students
• Develop and maintain relationships and communication with parents
• Fully participate in meetings, group planning, professional development and other staff activities
• All other duties of a classroom teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:   

• Certified in elementary education
• Valid Indiana teaching license
• Highly qualified 

COMPENSATION: 

• Starting salary for new teachers with 0 years' experience will be $46,000 for SY24-25. Compensation increases with experience and education, according to the current salary placement schedule. (Placement to be assessed during the onboarding process and includes prior employment verifications.)
