Position Title:    Boys Basketball Coach     

Salary :   $8,908  

Contract Length:  Sport Season 

Immediate Supervisor: Athletic Director                 

Basic Function: Responsible for guiding and directing students in a successful basketball program at the high school level

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Must demonstrate an interest in and support of the entire school program by attending activities and developing a feeder school program.

Qualifications:  Experience as a high school basketball coach in a successful program.  Must have good communication skills.  Must be able to get along with students and parents.  Ability to motivate athletes.  Experience as a basketball participant at the high school or college level. 

Physical Demands:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other technologies and office equipment, sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time; kneeling; bending at the waist; lifting; pushing; pulling and carrying equipment, supplies and materials weighing up to 25 pounds; repetitive hand movement and fine coordination to use a computer keyboard; emotional stability to work effectively under pressure and to keep all aspects of the job under control; hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the telephone; seeing to read; prepare and assure the accuracy of documents.
